Exploring OPINEL in Chambéry! 🇫🇷🔪

Some press trips bring back a little bit of childhood magic. ❤️

Along with seven journalists and influencers from the outdoor world, Anja travelled to Chambéry to visit OPINEL. 🇫🇷 From the brand’s original production sites around Albiez-le-Vieux to its current home in Chambéry, the trip offered a fascinating journey through OPINEL’s history – from Joseph Opinel’s idea for a simple, functional knife to the iconic brand it has become today.

Craftsmanship, tradition and plenty of ingenuity included. 😉✨

For Anja, the trip was particularly special: as a child, she received her first Opinel carving knife from her parents. Back then, it was the perfect companion for little adventures in the woods. 🌲 Today, as part of our work as an agency, she found herself standing inside the factory where these knives are made. 🏭
